How is Chinook 4 coming along?

Better be at least 3/16" thick if it's over 4".
 
With the Szabo folder coming I think it'll be a while before the Chinook gets any more attention. That knife should scratch the "big knife" itch that some of us seem to have.

I do agree that the style of the Chinook would make an excellent 5" folder.
 
I'll be waving and adding partial double edge to the Szabo folders when they come out.

On the prototype, it looks like the false edge reaches out a bit outside the handle while closed. they said they'll make some changes for the production model though. It would be great if they change the handle a little bit, so the false edge is completely covered when closed. It seems like that would be a pretty simple thing to change. Then it would be perfect for sharpening. :thumbup:
