How is everyone carrying their Izula?

Hi! First post here...

Just ordered a pair of Izulas (to complement my used and abused RC4). They won't ship for a couple of weeks though!

Main use would be for backpacking, I usually carry either in the pack waistbelt or on the shoulderstrap. I guess the MOLLE clip would work for that (but I didn't order the full kit), are there any other options? I really like the paracord lashing of the RC4 sheath...

I've been carrying mine in my right front pocket, looping it with a bit of paracord around my belt for sheath retention.

Welcome..
I attached a TEK-LOC to mine and carry it horizontal on my belt... I posted a pic but the thread had a gay overtone to it so,I will not post that picture of my belt carry ...a few folks like my Ass !

Left front pocket, fighting with my keys, SAK, and pen.

I should probably start buying pants with more pockets.

I carry mine horizontal on my belt i used some 550 cord and a cord lock works realy good it holds nice and tight

Paracord around my beltloop and into the left front pocket it goes. I pull it out and the sheath comes out with it and dangles at my knee until I resheath and put it back in my pocket.

I looped paracord around the sheath as shown in the instructions sheet. That makes a sort of inch long belt loop which I slide onto my belt for horizontal carry. It usually rides in the small of my back and is barely noticable. Sometimes I carry it like this above my left front pocket and it's even easier to reach with my right hand.

A snap-link could also be used as a viable carry option. I really haven't gotten to play with my Izula ye, but I have carried similar knives including my BK-11 and a passaround DP with a such, attaching them to a belt loop or pack strap. There is some potential of loss that way, but the Izula's sheath seems more than secure enough.

Here is a (self taken) picture of myself carrying the DP:

I'm with glefic. I use paracord and a cordlock to carry horizontally on my belt. Since getting it, me and my Izula go everywhere together. It has not left my side since I bought it.

I invented what has come to be known as ..."Taint Carry". It's explained in the other "how do you carry your Izula" thread.
