I'm Looking for a great folder, besides my 710's axis locks, i think the 720's are stronger, are they, will i get any stripped screws if i take it apart, overall, how is this knife, as a small fighting knife, all thoughts and opinions wanted, thanks..

it's a great knife. the blade shape is practical and useful, the handle shape is nice and the actions i've personally felt were SMOOTH!!! you'll hear many recommendations from people here, it seems to be quite popular. all that being said, i don't have one as i generally dislike aluminum handles. the finishes just don't cut it for me.

I have had three bought right off of my belt by co-workers. That speaks volumes. And i keep replacing it, and that says even more.

I have one and it`s now my daily carry. Only thing wrong with it when I got it I had to change the clip to the bottom end of the handle. If you leave it at the top , it will wear out your pocket because the lock button and the thumb stud rub hard every time you take it out. Has a great utility blade on it. Also I never liked aluminum handles till I got this one.

I really like my 720 (as far a small knives go). The lock-up, and everything else, is really smooth. Great blade shape, I'm told it's really good for skinning, and pretty sharp out of the box (even sharper now that I've been at it!). I love the aluminum handle, but I love all aluminum and titanium hanldes so maybe I'm biased. Certainly a good knife and worth the money.

I have one. Lovely little knife, but it needs a hole.

Go for it! I love mine, i cant put it down! Ill be milling about and all the sudden, there it is, in by hand! Ill look around and think to myself, how did that happen? it is a great little knife. I know that ive said this in a number of other posts so forgive me. I hate to be repetitive, but you guys give me too many opportunities!

I sold mine because I like a bigger blade. Your 710 has a better"defensive' blade, but even here I prefer Carnivour over the 710. But I now prefer Dalton Militia over Carnivour!. I guess I just like bigger blades. Off the subject, but check out that Dalton Militia! It really has a most impressive blade for a automatic:razor sharp ats 34 and 4.5 inch blade. Definetely a defensive knife with good utility value.

Like most of the posters here, I really like mine as well. The only thing I did was to thin out the edge since BM does make the angles higher than I like.

I like mine too. It is a good size for a daily utility knife. The handle is at the
bare minimum of what I need in terms of size, any smaller and it would be too small. The blade is nicely shaped, and is long and short enough for most jobs. I too had to thin the rather "wedge" like edge , but it sharpens up well, and holds the edge. As for defensive purposes, I prefer a Glock.

Ditto on all the good things others have said about this knife. What really stands out for me is it's ultra-smooth action. A light thumb-flick, w/o any wrist movement at all, consistently opens & locks the blade. I bought one on a friend's recommendation & to see the Axis lock for myself. It's a keeper!
