How is the Bravo 1 CPM 3v so strong if the tang is so skeletonized?

I was getting ready to purchase a Bravo 1 CPM 3v Field and found out the tang is significantly skeletonized. That's not a huge issue except that toward the front of the handle there is a lot of material missing which only leaves two very thin pieces of metal. It looks like it basically makes it a partial tang at best. Am I missing something here?

If the blade was longer and to be used for a wood chopper , it would be more of a concern . If maximum strength and toughness is most important then I'd avoid this type of design . Round holes , further back would be better IMO .

There is a video of the owner of Survive Knives using a skeletonized handle old spec GSO 4.1 in 3v as a repelling anchor. That's also a relatively thin knife.

remember that both light weight and BALANCE are the purpose for skeletonizing !
