how is the clip attached on the Carnivor?

I read that the clip on REKAT Carnivors gets a little wobbly after time. Is the Hex screw secured to the steel liner or just the G-10 scales?

I was extremely disappointed to find that it is only screwed into the G-10. Mine is developing slight side to side play as well. Here is a link to a response of this topic from Bob Taylor:
