How is the micarta on spydercos?

Hi, was looking at some spydercos with micarta handles on internet and wondered how the micarta was, is it the paper type, canvas type, does it scratch up easily?

I also saw this little burgundy micarta jester that seemed ideal for the key-pouch until I thought, will the micarta get scratched by the keys?

I like the micarta handle on my Ronin, feels excellent, good grip, easy to clean, not scratched. Mic is my favorite handle material. Paper on mine.

I have Micarta scales on my Shabaria. Paper type, smooth, pretty scratch resistant.

Micarta scales on my SPOT are great; no sctatching and tough as nails.

The Micarta Jester is very scratch-resistant. It is also dark, so any scratches that it does get should not be obvious.

Much of Spydercos is linen micarta,it holds up well but I like a much more aggressive micarta.
