How is the quality of Schatt and Morgan Knives?

There are several threads or individual posts complaining about the quality of Queen's products. Does that extend to the Schatt and Morgan product line in recent years?

I have seen a couple of different Schatt and Morgan products that are tempting me and I hope that the quality has improved.

Hit or miss, 3/5 of the latest schatt and morgans I have bought were fine. I have discussed the flaws in some of them in those threads.

I feel they are along the lines with Case but more attractive to the eye and better steel. The ones I have are great but like Jack said a bit hit or miss in F&F.

I only own 3 of the ones from within the past 5 years. All 3 are flawless.

It sounds like the F&F can be quite variable between individual knives. I wish I could look at it in person before buying.

Right, you can always check with the Dealer as well. Mike from Collector's Knives.net a sponsored dealer of here is a pretty good guy and very responsive. Most of the Schatt and Morgan's I have bought from him came pretty good!
