Can't seem to find a pic of the sheath. How good are they?

The sheath on mine is made by LBE.

It keeps the hawk very secure, andd the quality of construction is awesome. I don't think there is a way to quickly draw and return the hawk from this sheath though. Also, I didn't care for teh hawk on my belt, and I may string a "baldric-style" carry system for it, as Greg Walker and others have done. I believe a kydex system, like a shoulder rig or the quick draw rig shown on the ATC website, would be a large improvement. You get a secure hold and quick draw/return.

In addition though, judging from this 1 piece of LBE gear, I would buy stuff from LBE without hesitation; it is a fine quality product for sure.

I hate the sheath. No offense, it's a fine sheath for its intended purpose, but the sheath would be worthless if you were carrying the hawk and needed a quick draw. It would be fine if you were using the hawk as a tool exclusively, and it's nice for just storing it. It wouldn't work for combat. You need to dig the hawk out after undoing two snaps and it takes too long. I'm expecting a belt sheath from Survival Sheaths anyday now. :)

The sheath works well for me. Yeah, I wouldn't mind a quick release sheath but I don't mind the LB one either. I carry it on my belt and it keeps the hawk very secure. It also hides the lethal visage of the hawk's head from sensitive eyes. A puffy rectangle on your belt with a black stick coming out of it doesn't look very threatening.
