How is the tang on the Spec Plus line from Ontario?

Hi guys!!! I'm really interested in getting either the Task Force or the Fighting Knife (I just found them down here for a great price).

However I'd like to ask if any of you knows exactly what kind of tang they have. Most web sites say "Full Tang" under the specifics, but I get the feeling that it's just a narrow tang extended all the way into the handle (kind of like the one in the standard USMC Ka-Bar).

If anyone has any input about this I'd appreciate it.

They do indeed mean "full length tang" when they say "full tang." On the Spec Plus line, the tang extends all the way to the brass lanyard tube at the butt of the handle. They're very rugged knives, with comfortable handles.
Oh, and made of carbon steel in the USA.
Do it!

I got an SPII-51 from a member here, and it is a beast. I second what puukkoman said about their full tang.

They are a full length tang, but they are NOT full width. They are strong to be sure. I have batoned the snot outta mine. I have the SP10, SP8, SP17 QuarterMaster, SP47, SP Air Force Survival knife. They are all awesome blades. They all hold a razors edge even after batoning. The coating scatches & wears off, but i don't care, mine are all users.

Does anyone know if the ontario freedom fighter series is as strong tang as the spec plus?, i'm wondering because the blade profiles look very similar to the spec plus line but the handles are different
