How is your rainbow leek/chive holding up?

After a couple of weeks of light use (opening bags, cutting styrofoam) the finish on the blade of my Leek is starting to show some wear. The green/blue has come off in a small spot and the purple is showing through.

Isn't the coating meant to be 'tough' anyone else having these problems?

My rainbow Chive seems to be holding up just fine. I haven't put it to any extreme use, but daily wear over a period of several months has not had any affect that I can see.

You may have gotten one with a bad coating. Check with Kershaw and see what they say. My one experience with their customer service was very positive.

I would think some wear on the blade would be normal when it's used enough, I have often wondered how it wuold hold up, will be interesting to see some answers here.
