I don't know about you guys but I'm about to go nuts waiting for the E-knives. I just can't hold it in any more! Andy isn't helping much with all his great pics of the new batch of VERY cool variants.

Hang in there everybody!
Rich

I guess mentioning the fact that my two new variants arrived today wouldn't help either.

Talk about AWESOME!

I am leaving out for a trip tomorrow, so I will go into more deatil about my two new variants when I can.

First of all, I had to wait like everyone else. Andy kept me informed and I can't say enough about what a great guy he is to know and deal with.

The nine inch variant (The Melvin Project) can be seen on Andy's Variant site. Actually it is 15.25 inches in overall length. "Totally Awesome" doesn't come near describing the feel of this knife. As a friend said to me this afternoon, "I have GOT to get me one of these!"

The Clip Point SH Variant with tan handles (#5) tops the list when it come to overall field and camp knives. Seven inch cutting edge, thirteen overall, finger choil, beautiful looks and balance.

Jerry was definitely in the "Zone" when he made these two. I will try to post more after I wipe out a few trees and have custom Kenny Rowe sheathes made for them.

What sanity Doc V.?

No seriously though, I just try to picture my BM-E with tan handles in my hand chopping down shelter wood or quartering a deer. Oh just the thought of its 9.5 inch blade coated blade with the new ergo handle makes me giddy.....(Luke wakes up!) Anyways I am really looking foward to getting it!!

Yours in Nuclear deprivation,
Luke

The wait is hard. It just has to come soon.
My wife helped me out with my knife fix; out of the blue she gives me a Spyderco Civilian.
I think it has something to do with reading the book, Hannibal. Good book.

Is that the E-models I hear coming?
