How is your ZT 0560/0561 holding up?

I'm thinking about buying a Zero Tolerance 0561, and I was wondering if anyone has any long term experience with it. How is it holding up? Do you recommend it? Thanks for your time and feedback. It is great appreciated.

Had my 0560 for about a month now. I know that's not super long, but I've been very pleased with it.
It's by far the "tank" of my collection. Mostly I have Spydercos, which are amazing knives, but none of them have the heft of a 0560.

the ZT0560 just *seems* like a beefy knife that's gong to last me forever. Maybe I'm 100% wrong, it remains to be seen, but holding the knife in hand certainly instills a sense of confidence.

My 561 is only 2 months old (in my ownership anyway) and it locks up like it did the first day out of the box. The knife is simply solid and damn well made. I don't see any reason it won't hold up unless I really abuse the hell out of it.

Mine is about 8 months old and still gets carried daily. Absolutely love it. It's the only knife in my collection that I have 2 of, just different colors (0560/0561) I wanted to make sure if anything ever happened to my edc, that I could get my hands on another.

I have had my 560 for a little over a year and it has been my constant EDC since the day I bought it. It is holding up perfectly and It has turned me into ZT fan when I was a benchmade fan before the 0560. I plan to buy a 566 and 562. It also really turned me on to Hinderer blades and I will get a XM-24 this fall I hope. Long story short the only drawback I have found to the 560 is it making my wallet cry by turning me on to Hinderer stuff

I've had one for a while, and it's held up fine. The 550 seems more solid though, but both have been great and are still as smooth as can be with very little maintenance.

I have only had mine 2 weeks, I am the second owner but it was nib when I got it. I have used it for some pretty heavy cutting though and I can say for certain that everything about its construction it is very tough. The elmax isnt the top at edge retention but its tougher than most any stainless steel that I have used so far, where steels like s30v and zdp-189 would get small chips and lose sharpness as a result elmax wasnt even phased. I wouldnt worry about wearing one out and even if you did the company will have your back.

Had one since the beginning....can't go wrong.

Bought my 561 a couple years ago, and still love it. It's got a couple scuffs on the blade being I actually use it, but no functional problems at all. It always flipped smooth, but took a bit for the detent to wear in a bit so it would open with the studs, and the lock bar was sticky for a couple weeks. Probably the best handle shape there is to control that nice big blade, and the KVT system is flipper perfection. Elmax is a good balanced steel, a decent step up from S30V in my experience. It takes a really fine edge and holds it well, it never chips, only rolls or dulls, and is very stain resistant, sharpens way easier than you would expect given how long it keeps a fine edge. The trick is to strop it before you resort to sharpening, it strops better than any other steel I own, the edge comes back several times, and it's relatively easy to straighten out being no metal is actually missing, it is only "dull" from small rolls, and not actually worn or chipped where metal is missing and sharpening is actually needed.

My ZT 0561 is almost two years old now and it still locks at about 45% and solid with no blade play. The action is smoother than a politician come election time.:) I'm sure this knife will out last me.

I've had mine for just over a year. Admittedly it hasn't gotten as some of my other knives, but it has held up flawlessly. The blade sharpens up nicely and keeps a keen edge, and the body feels as solid as the day I got it.

I've had a 0561 blem for over 1.5 years and it's held up great. It's cut a lot if bumpers off of cars for me.

I've had mine for over 2 years and it was my main edc for at least a year. My blade developed a crack near the thumb stud about 5 months ago. ZT replaced it, said it was an improperly fit thumb stud that caused it. The lock bar has developed slip, and it's pretty much a slip joint at this point. I never abused it and it's held up ok, but I'm going to send it back to ZT to see if the lockup can be fixed. A note on the blade. The blade the knife had when I first bought it in 2012 wouldn't hold an edge. I had the blade replaced in 2014 and now it holds an edge really well. It's a great knife and still one of my favorites even though I've had issues with it. I think it's just an isolated incident, sometimes you just get a problem knife regardless of the company.

Had mine for 3 years and it couldn't be better flips like a champ and cuts like a beast. The only issue I had was a month ago I took it apart and the bearings were rusting I cleaned them off but called ZT and they shipped a new set out to me and it's perfect again.
