as some of you may already know my wife and i have been together over 20yrs and for the most part of that 20 we tryed to start a family just recently my wife gave me a birthday present when she told me she was pregnant we almost had givin up thinking that for some reason it was not going to happen for us. only after i had told her that when god wants it to happen he will honor our dream. and not long afterwards that dream was granted, and my wife and i have no words to describe the way that feels, this past monday afternoon that dream was almost taken away from us, when we were on our way home after my wife picked me up from work. a car came out of nowhere and plowed into our honda, our car was totaled, the kid that hit us thought the situation was funny when i told him my wife was pregnant, i will not say what i said to him. but i meant what i said, i could have lost my wife and our baby, i admit when i was a kid i took life for granted too. but as we get older we change i know i did , i am 41 yrs old now and life is no joke to me now i have my heart set on being a dad. and it goes without saying especially after 20yrs my wife is anxiously waiting to be a mom. sorry about rambling on, anyhow my wife is doing good and our first child thank god is still with us and was not hurt in the accident, an episode like we had makes you sit back and really realize that in a blink of an eye your whole life and dreams could be taken away. anyhow my wife is 3 months pregnant i had a chance to see the ultrasound the other day my wife says i had a grin from ear to ear:)

Thank God nobody was seriously hurt in the accident. Congrats on becoming a father soon, it is the best thing that has happened to me. Clearly, there is a reason that everybody survived.

Congrats guy and very glad your family was not seriously injured in the accident. I can understand the feelings and am glad you stayed calm (at least reasonably calm). I was 43 when my daughter was born and it has been great! take care of the family. Steven

Go beat the snot out of the punk. If its your first offense, you'll get probation.

I'm joking. Sort of.

More important, congrats on everything.

Sad you were scared
Happy that it was only the car and your two most precious things are ok.:thumbup:

The best to you and your wife and unborn baby...

Ren
