How Long do Runs Typically Last?

So, now that the Badgers are on the way (my CC hasn't been dinged yet though :( ), what is the typical time frame before last call on the Badgers? I may have to order one more, if I can scrape up enough more dough (provided an SFNO doesn't show up on the exchange in the meantime). How long based on past experience can I wait to make the call on one more Badger?

Most runs last on average 2 weeks.. Which surprisingly enough is also the normal wait time for shipping and new models!

This time span however is not to be confused with the eta of "2 weeks" for the BCKC folder... :D

Sorry, had to be said... ;)

I have not been around here long enough to determine any sort of average but I assume that BCKC will keep taking orders as long as they are coming in at an acceptable rate before switching to the next model. I do know that just before the FBMs came down and the Badgers went up warnings were posted here to the effect that if you want an FBM you had better order it immediately. Two possible courses of action would be to just order another or to keep an eye on the forum for the "last call" message and decide then. If you did not want to keep an extra one after all, you would have no trouble selling in on the exchange.

In the 'real' world as opposed to the 'Busse' world...there IS no average time.

But don't worry, we'll be informed in plenty of time for last minute orders. Just keep a general eye on the forum.

I've gathered that there will be some sort of last call announcement, I'm just wondering about how long from now to expect that. It is a matter of managing cash flow. I do realize I could always turn it around later, if I order another. But I'm one of those strange/rare people who actually pays my CC bill in full every month, so short term cash flow is the issue.

In simple terms, how soon do I need to switch to a my Ramen noodle and fasting routine to save up cash for another?:D

I am not saying too much but check out my latest post:thumbup:

Well, Amy-O, that sly minx, has cleared things up about the Badgers! Order now, do without or pay more later. On the other hand, she has thrown the red flag before the bulls eh "the INFI before the Hogs" about the next knife. This could turn out to be a long night in front of the screen.

This thread title is going to attract flies to poo like the "pile of infi" thread.

You all were thinking it, admit it.

LOL

My responses were gonna range from: "Depends if it's bad seafood or the flu" to "Until I take Immodium."

Depends on how many they sell, I bet. If demand keeps up (like the FBM's), they probably last longer. Badger seems shorter than FBM. But that could be me. Less than 4 months. Seems we were FBM-screamin for 5 months.

I had the piles recently, but they cleared up pretty quickly.
