How Long Do They Last?

I need to know how long water purification tablets will last both in their bottles, inside repackaged containers and inside kits. Thanks!

I think you would have to be pretty careful in repackaging them for years of shelf life. They react with darn near everything, even light. Most manufacturers give a shelf life (unopened) of 3-5 years.

I agree with you. You must put the tablets in a bottle or bag where light cannot get to the tablets and needs to be airtight so moisture can't get to it. I have read somewhere that light and air drastically lessens the power of these tablets. I hope this helps.
