How long does it take to get a SYKO/Swamp Rat?

I've been thinking of ordering either a SYKO 7/911 and/or a Ratmandu CG but I have heard stories of people ordering them while they are 'in stock' and then not getting them for like 6 months!? I am really impatient and unless its a custom knife being made from scratch for me I will not wait that long...especially if its listed as being 'in stock'. So I wanted some feedback from you guys cuz I'm sure some of you have probably ordered dozens of knives from the Busse family and can speak from experience. So if I've been misinformed please set me straight and if it can be even worse than I've been told don't hide it,lol. I don't need to be sold on how these are the greatest blades on earth and worth the wait cuz I have had a Dumpster mutt and it sold me on the quality of these blades. But its still not worth that kind of wait for a production knife.:D
 
For me the wait is always two weeks:D

Seriously though, I would call them to verify that it is actually ready for shipping if you are that impatient of a man...
 
I'm on week 5 for my RMD... Not the easies wait of my life I have to admit ;) ... It will be worth the wait!
 
My rodent 9 was 3 maybe 4 weeks. My Ratmandu was 7 or 8 weeks. Both were totally worth the wait. Don't let impatience keep you from a great knife!
 
I've been on here since 2005 and cannot recollect anyone with a 6mths order wait .... but your only a phone call away from an answer from the shop.
 
The Scrap Yard order page is still down. Dan said it should be up soon. My RMD took about 5-6 weeks before it arrived.
 
It depends from what I have seen and heard not longer than 2 months usually. I ordered a RMD a while back and it looks like it will take a total of 5 weeks. Thats not too bad considering they told me "5-7 but closer to 7" when i ordered it. Should come the middle of next week, pretty pumped!
 
Depends on a lot of factors, and blade just passing has put a little delay on some things.

I ordered an RMD CG and had it in my hands in 22 days. I ordered a custom RMD SE and it took 9 weeks. Im waiting on a custom R4 and its been 10+ weeks now, but this time i blame blade show. The first 2 weeks after i order i am impatient... then i just forget about it until i get the phone call saying it has been finished :)

Really the wait gets easier with each order for me, And i grab a few here and there from the exchange to hold me over.... If i didn't id prolly go crazy... or drive the girls crazy asking about my blades lol.
 
Scrapyard told me i can place an order when the website is fixed
I ordered a Ratmandu may 9, still no news
It's the game, place orders and wait till the good news!
