How long does it take

I just paid for a Gold membership.When I went to the user cp then to group memberships I was informed that I had bounced email. Wasnt aware of it as Ive had that email for several years and recieve emails from other members relatively often,but changed it to a yahoo account I have anyway. Now I go back to group memberships and opt out of the bounced group but still see no option for my gold status. My question is does it take a little while to process the payment? I checked my bank account and the $25 charge for 1sks is there but says pending. Would appreciate any guidance anyone might provide. Thanx

If you paid using the automated system, it takes effect immediately. In your case, you got an AVS (address verification system) mismatch - you didn't put the correct billing address for your card in the appropriate fields. So, effectively your membership charge didn't go through.

Please retry with the correct address and it will automatically take care of you.
 
My problem now is that my bank statement is saying I got charged twice for the membership.Once from the other day and once for today.Will the first one with the incorrect address be nullified?
 
Yep, your bank just put a hold on the money. We're not going to collect it, so they'll release the hold in 2-3 days.
