How long for GOLD memebersip to kick in?

Don't know where else to post this or where/who to ask. Holw long does it take for the Gold membership to kick in? Just got it. I'm excited to do my avatar and everything else.

Will I just come on one day and it will be gold? do I have to sign in again? because I have the BF icon on my desktop and it's allways signed in.
 
If you used the automated system it should kick in very soon. If not, go to the service and support forum and post a thread to Spark, giving him your order number, and when he sees it, he will look into what has happened.

If you used the older manual system, it will take until Spark has time to get around to it. It could take a week or two.

Helps if we have any information. Did you use the automated system or the manual system? If the latter, what was your order number?
 
Ok, found it. You used the old system, and it was just in the process queue
