How long for upgrade?

I wanted to get a name change and upgrade/renew my subscription to gold level.

I didn't want to have two seperate transactions so I used the 1sks store.

The first issue is that 1sks sells the gold membership for $30, while on here it's only $25.

I went ahead and bought at 1sks. I hope they reduce the charge to $25 like I asked in the comment area.

That was several hours ago.

I got a confirmation email and I got a shipping notice as well.

What I don't have is the ability to change my group to gold or my new name.

How long does this process usually take?

If you had used the new automated system you would have gotten the discount and instant activation, but you chose to use the old manual system so you paid full price and you'll have to wait for someone at 1SKS to activate your membership manually -- probably sometime during business hours tomorrow. Oh well....

The new system doesn't have the name change, custom titles, etc.

Also the FAQ doesn't have any explanation of this.

Perhaps a few edits should be made.

There is no "automated way" to change usernames, hence the $10 fee. If you use the non-automated system, it means that you pay the extra money for a person to physically edit your stuff, make sure no one else has that name, etc.
