With this being Jerry's 20th anniversary in making custom knives I was curious how long you have known about the Wauseon Wildman's work.
I first discovered Busse knives sometime in 1998, but I know some of you have been familiar with Busses for a longer period.

I've only known since about 2000 :o

However, since then, INFI's been singing its sweet music in my ears constantly :D

I have known of Mr.Busses work since the late 80's,however I have not been totally familiar as I am now, since around 2 years ago.Did that make any sense?

i'm a newbie...Jan 2001 i read up on Busse...by March i had my babies...

Well I remember hearing about Busse back when the Mistress was first released, so around '97? I started getting into them about this time last year, and haven't been able to stop :)

Knew about Busse in 95 or 96. Still have the pamphlet they
sent me. All the knives were A2. Didn't get my 1st Busse
till May 2000.

Not long enough :p

I wish I had known years ago, before I wasted all that money on other inferior knives. Glad I finally found them, wished it had been earlier. :D:D

Heard about Busse in the American Survival Guide. Ordered the SH II in A2 before Jerry switched over to INFI in 1997. Did not get another Busse until 2001 when I met Andre at Knife Expo 01.

I remember seeing Jerry and crew set up at gun shows here is central Ahia years ago, and specifically at some trade shows at the Convention Center.

I remember thinking "No damn knife is worth THAT much", and listening to Jerry explain why his knives WERE worth it. Like Eric, wish now I'd have bought them then and not wasted $$ on "others".

SORRY MAN!!!!

I read about busse knives in SOF magazine or maybe it was american survivalist. Anyway i read about the tests and didnt believe it. Wish i had started buying then. That was like mid 90s or so i think. Look at me now jerry three busses inbound, better late than never.

Since Cold Steel's first Riposte ;) I think that was in 1998.
Got my first Busse in 2000.

A little over a year but haven't got nearly the number of knives as you know (1)who!

Had no interest in knives before that. Then on a fateful day, saw an issue of Tactical Knives. Picked it up, bought some BM 42s then found a link to these forums. Read some reviews, saw Cliff Stamp's post about something called INFI, did a search and found Busse! Bought one, the two, then .... sound familiar?

I first started noticing Busse ads in magazines around `95 or so. I remember it was a couple years before INFI really started hitting the big time.

I can't remember what year I bought my first Busse, an INFI Steel Heart II, but I can tell you it was on order for a few months before Jerry's accident. (I'm sure Jerry will never forget the date.) Whenever that was, go back a couple of months or so.

I didn't know that Jerry actually came to Kalifornia! I wonder if he had a bad experience & that's why he has not come back? :(

Back in late 2000 A freind of mine that makes Severtech autos introduced? me to Busse by way of a A2 steelheart 1 he needed a back-packing sheath for to carry on the bottom of his butt pack.He said Busse knives was the inspiration for the butt kickin' auto he makes. Then in 2001 Papathud was my undoing by indroducing me to all the new models that I had to have, the rest is INFI history:D
