Long time forum member, been singing those "Down on my luck blues" for a couple of years. I'm back on my feet, and planning to pick up an AK Bowie for my wife to replace one that was stolen. She gets bored with workouts, and Tai Chi with the big knife was her favorite exercise. I just need to know a rough turn around from when I order, are there any in stock, am I waiting for one to be made, etc. I know catching a forum deal would be ideal, but I am seldom that fast or lucky. Thanks!

Depends. Email Yangdu directly. If she has one in stock, you will have it in just a couple of days. If it has to be made, then whenever the kami gets around to it, could be a couple months.

Good luck. I really like mine!

Hey Jack,
Don't make her mad.
Tai Chi is considered one of the most deadly arts in China by Chinese boxing experts.
Most in America only know the slow chi building excercise that is only a small part of real Tai Chi "Grand ultimate Boxing".
Tai Chi has joint locks, powerful projections, ground fighting "Dog boxing" and the best throws in Martial arts short of Chinese Wrestling.

Few know the meanings of the movments anymore.
Myself,I could never learn a movement correctly without understanding the combat applications.
All those soft, slow, flowery movements are actually lethal movements proven on Chinese battlefields for thousands of years.

This is the best article on Chinese Boxing prinsibles there is.
This is what Tai Chi is all about.
Only takes about 20 years to master them all.
Print it out for your wife.
Her understanding of the movements will rocket light years ahead.
