How many ASHes might we see?

This discussion has probably been made before, but I'd like to know all of your opinions on this.

The current ASH model is officially named the Anniversary Steel Heart One. I am guessing it is modelled after the first Steel Heart model.

Therefore, the Anniversary Steel Heart Two will be modelled on the second Steel Heart model, etc.

So does this mean Busse is looking to release all of the old school Steel Heart models as new ASH models?

I love the SHSH2 and if Busse releases a ASHSH2 I might need a third job.
 
I'll rephrase. Does the word "one" in the name Anniversary Steel Heart One indicate that there will be more Anniversary Steel Hearts (like the ASH2, etc)?

We've seen a number of medium and small knives lately, hopefully if there is an ASH2, it'll be a ways off and we'll see something properly massive released next!

Thats what I'm hoping for at least!
 
MiniASH for me please. 4" blade, 3/16" thick. That would rock my world.

I think you're parsing it differently. It's (Anniversary) (Steel Heart I) - i.e. a reissue of the Steel Heart I for Anniversary purposes. I don't think there were plans to do an anniversary series of SHI, SHII, SH-Ergo and SH-Fusion, but anything could happen further down the road.

New model.... BUSSE HUNTER... stag handle... 4.5" blade, 3/16ths... satin finish.

Just thinking out of the box here, guys...

On the big blade side, how could you beat the FSH and FBM lines? :eek:

I honestly can't think of any big Busse knife that beats the FBM (other than the AK, but that's in a class of it's own... okay the Ruck is in that class too). But a BM with ASH handles would be too sweet!
 
Anniversary Straight Handled Battle Mistress :thumbup:

Maybe something for the next anniversary, in 4-5 years?
