How many blade shapes do you EDC at once?

It's always about having the right tool for the job...

So I find myself with a primary drop point fixed... But also have a folding hawkbill and fixed or folding Wharncliffe.

That's 3! :p

I'd LOVE to be able to EDC my fixed trailing point, but being a 5.25" blade and 10"+ overall package, just can't justify it.

Can anyone beat 3? By how many!?

All the shapes! I'd say Leaf Shape, Trailing Point and Clip Point primarily. Although the shapes often appear blurry to me, where the difference can be small between certain blades.

Here's what I have on me today

Sheepsfoot, drop point, and a... marlin spike... 2.5?

Shapes? I generally carry a traditional, a modern folder, and (whenever possible) a fixed blade. The blade shapes vary - sometimes I carry a specific knife because of something I'm doing...but, usually, it's just what I want or (occasionally) decide I haven't carried in a while.

It really depends on the day. I always have at least one knife with a somewhat versatile blade shape on me, plus whatever else I fancy carrying that day.

For the past week or so I've had a couple of Emersons (a Combat Karambit and a Vindicator) in my pockets, combined with either a Vic Cadet II or Cybertool 41 (depending on which pants I'm wearing).

I keep a fixed blade (right now a Helle Besseggen) and a multitool (a Charge Tti today) in my backpack. Both get used quite often.

Depends. Always carry two knives at work, one of which is ALWAYS a Mora.
The other one varies from day to day.

But today I've got these two, so.. Whatever you want to call the shapes.

I usually have 3 knives on me
a Spanto 3.5” or 3” XM-18 or drop point ZT 551
a belt sheath knife a drop point Buck 110 or Schrade LB7 bc i enjoy carrying them and it gives me a place to hook my gloves
and various traditional knives with clip points speys sheepsfoots or warnie.

outdoors usually just two a drop point or clip point fixed blade snd a standard stockman

With my 301/303 clip, sheepsfoot, spey, alox electrician, spear short sheepfoot, plus punch pretty much covered with my new executive

I was expecting a stockman to show up. That’s three different blades in one knife.

I usually have a max of 2. Single blade traditional, single blade modern. Or a 2 blade traditional. If I’m carrying a fixed, I usually have a folder on me as well, but again it’s probably a single blade so I suppose 2 is right number for me.

These two see the most action.

For the last week, I have only carried my Vic Small Tinker (spear point I presume) and a pen blade. Haven't needed anything bigger. Basically, this is the evolution of my knife use.... the small Tinker does most everything I need and anything else is just for fun.
