I've just received my first Bradley: an Alias II 1st Production Run #127.
What a nice nice nice and effective knife.

Just wanted to know how many mates I've in this forum.

Cheers

Me gotta mayhem, fantastic but safe queen. Cos its blardy expensive, its too nice to use and its illegal most places, here included. Still I like it. :)

Actually, I also wonder how many knives were made in the first production run.

As it's made by BM, I suppose a 1,000 would be a fair guess.

Anyone know for sure?

Not me :(

Anyone has an estimate of the grinding angle of the cutting edge? My understanding is that it is on the 25ish. Too much. Probably today I'll grind a secondary bevel at 20° or so.

I have one Alias II plain edge. I actually use mine. It's been a great knife and holds an edge very well. BTW I think the edge is about 25 degrees but that hasn't been a problem for me. YMMV however...

To me it is. Cutting ropes is really really unfeasible.

Hhhmmmm I think I'll go with my DMT Deluxe, if only I could recall the clamp steps in degrees.
I remember it starts at 20° but I what about the second step?

I have this Alias 1 fizzed by Matt Cucchiara (I think only 9 was made and each design is unique) :

I really love this knife, easy to open and close, sharp as a scalpel

Got an Alias II. It's 091 of 1st Production Run. Quite like it and carry it frequently.

Just had a leather sheath for my Bradley (I guess it'll work also an a small Sebbie).
Handmade under my own eyes and basing on my specs.
It's more kind of a prototype, as you can see inner pencil marks, yet I would like to know your opinion.

Should you like it I'm in touch with the crafsman, who lives 20KM far from me. He gave me plenty of leather options (also a quick belt detachment one) and colours.
