I believe I can answer that question with the photos and descriptions below.

1. Front knife is the fairly rare early issue Stars and Stripes with the "50" stamp.
2. Rear knife is the later issue with the "Buck 50" stamp.

3. Front knife is the very rare Plum Paperstone with the "50" stamp.
4. Rear knife is the Green Paperstone with the "50" stamp.
These were only built in early December, 2013 before they were discontinued.

Those Stars & Stripes without the "Buck" on the tang are difficult to find. I was lucky enough to find both Paperstones though!

The March 2015 BCCI newsletter 2014 Special Projects list says that their were 100 Stars & Stripes models (0010BLSUSA1-B, Catalog 7892) made with a dealer number (instead of a serial number) on the tang and laser etched on the handles with Chuck & CJ's signature on the handle? What do these look like Stumps because, if anyone has one, you must be one of 'em?

5. Rear knife is the early stamp Chairman series.
6. Front knife is the later stamp Chairman series.

These are the four knives that were available each quarter of 2014.
Starting from the rear;
7. The first quarter knife is the "Federal".
8. The second quarterly knife is the "Magnolia".
9. The third quarterly knife is the "Weld".
10. The fourth quarterly knife is the "Lochsa".

There are four versions of the standard 110.
The first two pictured below;
11. The rear knife is the earliest with the "50" stamp and no inlay medallion. I've seen these boxed as early as late November, 2013.
12. The front knife was next with the "50" stamp and an inlay medallion.

The next two standard 110s are picture below;
13. The rear knife was next in line with the "Buck 50" stamp with an inlay medallion.
14. The front knife is another rare one. It has the "Buck 50" stamp with no inlay medallion. Buck said they were not going to use any anniversary stamped blades after the first of the year, but for some reason they built a small number of these in February, 2015.

There are also four versions of the finger groove 110.
The first two are pictured below;
15. The earliest and a very rare one is the rear knife with the "50" stamp and no inlay medallion. I've got a couple of these dated 12-6-2013 on the box.
16. Next was the front knife with "50" stamp and an inlay medallion.

The next two finger groove knives are pictured below.
17. The rear knife was next with "Buck 50" stamp and an inlay medallion.
18. The front knife is one of the rarest. It has the "Buck 50" stamp and no inlay medallion. It was made in February, 2015 even though Buck said they would not use the anniversary blades after January 1st, 2015.

So my answer is 18 Buck Factory issued 50th Anniversary knives. I don't know of any others.
There are many more Buck 110s that were special project 50th Anniversary knives made for other companies and our collector's club.

You hardly need a mule-train for these. Are you going to post all of your odds and ends 50th 110s here too?

I have not seen any Stars and Stripes like that. Maybe someone will post one if they have it. :)

I might down the road when I have all I might have missed like the one trevorklat mentioned above, but I will post this older photo taken near the end of 2014 that has a bunch of them.

Love the photos, thanks for posting them. Especially liked that last one. What a collection!

Thanks!

Most impressive!

Thank you!

I started this thread to post a final tally of the Buck Factory issue 50th Anniversary 110s and show pictures of them. To me it looks like 18 is the number...but I've been known to be wrong. :)
Please post any you think I might have missed.

Gotta have the wildlife photo.
Here's a "buck" I passed on a backpacking trip. I wasn't that close to him. I zoomed in a little.

Nice knives Mark. That is a good size buck for a 6, what state were you in?

Awesome collection and pics, you really like 110's!

I have the 50 anniversary with no inlay and Buck 50 and anvil in the blade

Wow! That's really impressive collection :)
Congratulations!

What about the 2013 blade stamp and 50th medallion? I thought it was the rarest...

That was taken in PA. He was a fat one. :)

Thanks...yours is one of the early ones.

There wasn't any made like this on purpose. The medallion didn't appear until early in 2014...about three months after Buck started using the 50th blades. The 50th blades appeared and were put into use as far back as late November, 2013.
I have seen only one 50th 110 with a 2013 blade, but that was on a Weld that slipped through. There was no medallion on the Weld.
There probably were a few that slipped through with a 2013 blade just like the Weld I mentioned above.
There are a good number of 110s made at the end of 2013 with no medallion. Any 110 from that period at the end of 2013 with a 2013 blade and a handle with no medallion would be just another 2013 knife.

Thanks Stumps
I am sure this info will be of great value in the future. My only good 110 50th is the original 50th stamp with no medallion. I also have a 110 50th (last stamp and medallion) with Chuck, CJ, and Josh's signatures, this is of of my favorites as it is one of the last knives Chuck signed. Do you know how many of these were signed?

I remember seeing the number of those three generation signature 110s, but don't recall right now. Maybe 100, but I'm probably wrong.
I believe those were another SMKW offering though.
I have one. It's one of my favorites too. :)

Maybe he'll post here and tell us what he knows about that one.
It would be great to see the box it came in and to know if it is factory or if it was done later with a 2013 blade.
I have an early 1970's frame with a 50th blade, a late 1970's frame with a 50th blade and a late 1980's frame with a 50th blade.
I still say Buck didn't make a run of those, but as you know, lots of things can happen with Buck.
Again, the medallion wasn't available until early 2014 and by then Buck had been using 50th blades for several months.
