BK10 Crewman Utility (Black)

BK4 Machax

The Bk13 is the new freebie that comes with the bk7 or 9's. According to the other roll call thread there was also the reinhardt kukri which didn't have a number. I don't know if the BK9 Hog Hunter Counts and the other neckers are detailed in this thread: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=608725
Sorry about my post, Just realized you specified camillus beckers.

Here's most everything I'm aware of...

Right to left: BK-1 Brute, BK-2 Campanion, BK-2 SG Campanion (serrated), BK-3 TacTool, BK-4 Machax, BK-5 Magnum Camp, BK-6 Patrol Machete (Bush Hog), BK-7 Combat Utility, BK-7 SG Combat Utility (serrated), BK-77 Extreme (S-30V), BK-9 Combat Bowie, BK-9HH Combat Bowie (Hog Hunter), BK-10 Crewman, BK-11 Necker.

The exceptions, of course, are the Desert Tan models, which were available in the BK-7, BK-9, and BK-10.

Also, the BK-8 was produced by Camillus as a prototype. There were purportedly only 5 made.

Finally, I understand there are a few prototype neckers made by Camillus floating around out there. These have no "BK" designation.

Any others?

Sorry. To answer the question directly, I count 19 if one includes color variations (3 desert tan models) and known prototypes (2 known). Included also are the two SG (serrated government) versions that were mainly sold to the military.

I had a chance to buy each of the desert tan versions on fleaBay, but they never really appealed to me, so I let them pass. I also made an offer on a BK-8 which was soundly rejected. :p

Thanks to two kind people, I might be in possession of one or more of those prototype neckers. :D

Guyon,

You win with having 14.:) Very nice picture! 19 sounds like the winning number. I like the desert tan ones, but after being in the sand box a few times I am warpped.:D

I learned a few things. Even non-Camillus ones.

I may need to get a Kabar version one day. Becker Necker when it's made by KaBar not Taiwan.

Thanks again!

So that makes an even 20 so far. Thanks, Doug. It looks like a very interesting cross between the Campanion and the Crewman.

BK12 / RSK Mk2 by Camillus. Prototypes only, not sure how many total with minor variations, certianly fewer than a dozen. Was just getting ready to order blade stamps to enter production when Camillus went under.

Kinda, sorta, but not exactly. :D Plus, it has at least one unique patent-pending trick up its sleeve. ;)

today's your lucky day then, because the BK11 necker in carbon steel is made in the USA. buy 10 :)

the BK13 is not (yet), and the BK13CSM is made in japan. if they did san mai in the USA (at all?) it might be made here.

keeping in mind that the camillus sheaths were all made in china, afaik. not sure about the spec ops. you'll have to throw those away :) get custom ones, or eagle industries models ;)

also, the "warrior" was a MachAx variation, but it wasn't BK08. afaik, 25-50 made. claimed anyway. i've only ever seen 2-3 of them.

hopefully soon (today? it's my day off ;>) i'll scan some more old literature and post that in the rol call thread... there were many variants on older models, so pre-camillus, there's QUITE a few models too.

Spec-Ops sheaths are top shelf.

Guyon,

Those are very nice looking set of five knives. I can tell I am NOT in your league as a knife person. You must have more knives than SMKW?:D

I would carry Gerber myself on the front of those Spec-Ops sheaths, but that is just me! Every British Royal Commando that I ran into also carried Gerber tools. I know custom sheaths that are better looking, but not as practical.

I don't know about leagues, but those are some fun knives. That's a Becker BK-7 on the left with some Camillus factory micarta scales. One of my latest favorites also rides in a Spec-Ops sheath.
