How many people have you been able to turn on to Busse blades?

Any amusing stories?? Any of them turn fanatical??

Mike

Well, I know of one I turned on to Busses. He is my former MA instructor and he just bought his first, a BA-E. Also joined the forums over on the Busse Forum. I understand he is planning on getting an AS sometime down the line. :D

There may be more, but this is one I know for sure :D:D

I'm feel like a proud Father ;)

I'm as fresh a convert as you have. :)

But no one converted me.

I guess it was an "outside" conversion.

(SH in 2 days)...waiting.

Yep! Very funny, very funny!

I wanted a Busse back in '96 or '97 and was unable to get in touch with them, I think that was a growing pains part of the companies growth.

So..............I traded a knife plus some $$ to Chuck for a "slightly used " sh-Battle Mistress about four months ago.

Thanks a lot Chuck! It has been all downhill since then (but I LOVE the ride!). Since then I have gotten three more sh-Battle Mistresses (even found one with a clip), a Steel Heart II, two A-2 Mean Streets, a sh-Badger, a ZT Steel Heart and who knows what else is on the horizon. I have sold A LOT of my customs for Busse Knives. Do not know what it is but they really "talk" to me.

I am fondleing Chuck's Battle Mistress right now, in a new Brown kydex shath, though about selling it a few weeks ago then decided not............its my first Busse and I think,my favorite! I am not some computer geek who has dreams of going out "on the kill", but these knives are meant to be used and are f*cking tits!:D

BTW: No regrets. I have customs that are nuch more designed for a specific purpose (you outta see the Fogg Shiv that I have, sin't no fooling around, just gut 'em and leave 'em). But the Busse knives are just so............TOUGH!

I would say most you have been responsible for my INFI habit. The following that Busse has is great. It's funny, when you go to other parts of the forum there always seems to be a little, uh, conflict shall we say among the followers. Now, a little difference of opinion is never bad, but some of the junk that goes on gets old. Never seen that here... Good natured fun (Nimrod's Satin Jack!), lots of good input when questions are asked, and real life stories of use tend to make it irresistable to at least try a Busse.

Mark,
I agree with you 100%. The majority of the time I spend on the forums, is spent right here. Even if it is just digging through year old threads its better reading them than dealing with some of the others "out there" :D:D

To extrapolate just a bit on Mark's & Eric's posts, on some of the other forums many of the posters seem to spend a lot of their bandwidth pumping their own image. Here the discussion seems to stay more focused on the knives.

Self-important people I can find anywhere. A knife that is "Busse good" is truly a rare gem!

obconvertref: Zengrok is a friend of mine who wound up in the Busse camp thanks to my rants & even more enthusiastic raves.

I've converted one person so far, my one of my best friends. First I got him into Benchmade folders, and now loving Busse blades, especially Mistresses. Gee figure that one out! might have something to do with all of them at my place for him to play with when he visits :D

I wouldn't consider them to have been converted when it was really more like passing the infection:):D

A fellow I went on an elk hunting trip likes skinny slicing knives, I do too, along with a Busse.

While showing him my Natural Outlaw and explaining the virtues of INFI, the guide was watching and listening. I think he is either a convert or very close.

After Andre turned me into a fanatic 19 Busses later:eek:
I have been able to bring about 4 bretheren into the fold:D
sadly only 2 have turned fanaticle but I am working on the other 2:D
