How many CRK owners in the upper midwest.

I live in Saint Paul, MN. I find myself checking pocket clips when I notice them to see if they carry a nice knife, specifically my friends. We don't talk much about knives but many of them carry them. A lot of kershaw, a couple gerber, a spyderco, some others. I am wondering how many people own CRK knives in my city. Are any of you guys/gals living in saint paul MN? Don't worry, I won't stalk you:) just curious is all.

Gosh, this is lookin' pretty lonely. One would think that in a nice city, like Saint Paul is, there would be more than one CRK owner! :eek:

Maybe they're all up in the Arrowhead Country right now enjoying the Fall colors......... :cool:
 
I saw that someone finally responded and thought "I guess I am not alone". Has the thread been up long enough to crown myself King of the CRK owners in the Upper Midwest????

P.S.
The leaves are beginning to change here in Saint Paul too. I am getting married outside on the 29th, it should be beautiful! There is nothing like fall in this area of the country, Crisp morning air, football, beer, trees changing colors. Etc. Etc.
 
If the others don't come out of hiding pretty soon I would say you are indeed The King.

You are right. There is nothing like the Fall season in the North Country. Perfect time for a wonderful wedding. :thumbup:
 
I'm not from Saint Paul, MN but about 4 hours South of you in Iowa. Just starting to see some fall color here in NE Iowa.
 
I currently reside in Southeastern Wisconsin and I've yet to see an individual carrying anything with the famed CR stamp on the clip.

I admit I'm a pocket clip checker myself. So far in my southern Indiana area I am the only person that I have seen carry a Seb. I have turned on a couple of co-workers to Spyderco, but when it comes to the CRK price tag I get that "you are F@#$ing crazy" look. I try not to talk about specific price anymore.

I know there are others in this state. I've seen them post on INGO in the knife section. That was before I could concieve of spending $400+ on any knife. Now I have 4-5 CRK's I carry the crap out of, not to mention a couple of SnG's when the mood strikes.

I apologize to the OP for talking so much about Indiana owners. Don't mean to stomp on your thread. Got carried away.

I carry a zaan in my rotation. I have several friends that carry small sebbies here in the land of Rahm...

With so many of us in the midwest I think we need to have a meet and greet! Bring all our CRK's and have a Trade Bazaar!
 
RiverRat, you'll have to contend with me as well. I'm hoarding my BG42, regulars, and mammoth in NE Indiana.

I've slimmed down my collection considerably. I'm probably at jester status at this point :smiley_simmons:
 
Didnt realize there were that many CRK peeps in Indiana! I think I need to hook up with travis for a reblast on sebenza.
