  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

How many editions of BuckLock 531's were there?

How many versions of the 531 were made? Especially ~89-90?

TIA!

...There were two (2) versions made between 1989 and 1990. In 1988/1989 the 531's were of the "Sawby Lock" variety...in 1989 that was changed to a "mid-lock" version to make the "sheeple" happier with the locking mechanism. The "mid-lock" 531's were made til 1994 when they were disconinued. It appears that the "spine-whack" test did in the very good "Sawby Locking" system. It's a shame that it happened as the Sawby lock is a very secure syatem...:(

If a "version" is the locking mechanism then the Sawby and the midlock are the only two. If you are also asking about the various etched blade and handle material versions then add another two dozen or so.

Apparently that really was a Sawby lock that was on E-bay last week.
I finally found a set of photo's, on the Buck photo subforum, that matched up w/the e-bay pix.

Ran out of bucks before I got the Buck.
