I'm sure there have been discussions on this topic before, but I recently bought my first fenix flashlight (E01) I was really impressed for the money and couldn't resist getting the E21 Q4 two weeks latter :D Awesome little lights in my opinion, I've paid the same amount of money for far less quality. I really like the neutral white light from the E21, and the low mode is plenty bright for 90% of my needs. Who else carries a fenix?

I've got E01's on my keychain and in my PSK's. I've got a TK40 in the nightstand. Good lights.

Fenix fan here have an older L2D-Q5 that is just awesome.

[in b4 it's moved to gadgets & gear :D]

I have several Fenix flashlights. Pleased with all of them (L2D, PD20, PD10, L1D, etc.) I tried a Nitecore thinking it would be better, but it kept sucking down batteries when not in use.

I'm going to try out the Eneloop rechargeable AA batteries with the L1D and L2D. They also have AAA Eneloops. They are supposed to keep a pretty good charge even sitting around for 9 months.

Yeah, you need to put a WSS flavor on it...most quality LED "tools" are more than just for illumination; some have strobe functions for signalling.

I own about a half dozen Fenix LED lights. The most common I use is the older PD (single 3V) light; very compact and effective...easily hides on the belt as part of your WSS EDC:thumbup:

I really like the styling on the Fenix lights, but the interface on the 4Sevens works better for me. That .2 lumen mode is oh so useful.

I had a fenix PD20 but didnt like the fact that it had the CR123 batteries...i opted for a LD10 which puts out a crapload of light for one AA battery. It is just plain awesome! i will definitely buy more fenix products in the future. Probs ill pick up a 1 AAA battery flashlight to replace my streamlight microstream....like to attach to my keys

I have a P3D, P2D and a LD10. I like the LD10 so much I bought a second one for my wife. The single AA LD10 is a great light, especially using rechargeable batteries.

I got an early L1P, 90% of my use is with the ARC AAA that hangs around my neck 24/7, the Fenix get the other 10% when I need a little bigger light.

I use all my other lights occasionally but I've been checkin' out the digital Fenix lights.

Well Im not alone :D I'm thinking I need one more (already) one of the single aa models, haven't yet decided which one. I should have emphasized they were to be used hiking camping, and my general time in the woods practicing skills and getting away from real life:) I guess with the money I save buy using Mora and Victorinox I wont be going overboard buying just "one" more :D

And I'm thinking of picking up some of the eneloops, though I've used the cheap nimh from kodak in my digital cameras for 2-3 years and they seem to hold a charge pretty well. The run time on the E01 is good enough that I'll probably just stick with alkaline, the E21 seems to be doing pretty good so far on a set of standard duracells but I'll probably switch to nimh after the first set dies. Perfect for the pack, small and bright enough to easily carry, large enough to hopefully not lose it!

I have 8 different fenix lights and think they are great for the money. This one is my favorite.

I've got a couple Fenix lights, but I think the 4sevens flashlights are better. I have a 4sevens Quark123x2 neutral white in which I use a 17670 Li-ion Rechargeable. Run times are awesome ! I'm an electrical contractor, and I use a flashlight multiple times daily. Love using the rechargeables. Save me a ton of money!

I just got a Fenix E01, in the natural finish, same as the OP. great little light.

Very new, just bought a TA-20 two weeks ago to go with 18 various models of Surefires in our home. The TA-20 worked pretty good last week-end camping, liked the "halo" effect w/ the centered beam. Price was about 1/3 of the same Surefire model, plus it came with a free gift - - A Junglas !! :)
Both were "first's" for me.
Be safe.

I've got a few Fenix lights, LD10, E20, E21, and an old L2P. I have used the L2P at work every day for the past three years. It has been dropped more times than I can count, subject to extreme temps hot and cold, underwater and subject to various cleaning chemicals. The tail piece loosened up once(no biggie to tighten) and I lost the low light setting, only works on high now. Still using the original o-rings and push button cap. Fenix lights are good. The Quarks are every bit as good, I have a few of them as well:)

Fenix lights are great, no doubt but IMO there are better lights for the money in some categories. For instance, I had an EO1 that cost me around $13. For $20 you can get an ITP AAA light that actually has a lens and three levels, low being about the same as the EO1, plus a med. and high.
The Fenix LD10 is a great light but the low is way to bright. In the same price range you can get the Quark AA light that has moonbeam, and low that are both lower than The Fenix low.
After I got the Maratac AAA light for my keychain I gave my Fenix EO1 away. After I got the Nitecore D10 and Quark AA lights, I sold a Fenix LD10. Never regretted either move.
