So there's been a lot of Christmas deals recently :D saw you blokes pick a few up...even picked one up for myself, that chainpuri from a few days ago... :o that's being wrapped and put under the tree from me to me :)

How many khuks are you gifting this year and who is your target for some HIKV?

My mate is loving my Khuk collection and I'm thinking about giving him one of my khuks to inflict him with some HIKV but my collection is small and I love them all :( thinking about giving him a Gopte knife I got about 2 weeks ago, either that or one of my KL/DBVUKS...which I also love :/ jus don't know about this whole Christmas thing...lol

Maybe get bawanna to make him one? :D
 
Can Auntie get a knife to you in time for Christmas? Figured it would take a spell to get it over there and cleared etc.

I'm so glad I don't live that far away as the mail flies anyhow. It's a far piece to drive though.
 
kages katne is the ultimate stocking stuffer , followed closely by a bawanna bowie and then a nice reti or klvuk!

There was a time when I would have agreed on the Kag but not the Bowie, but as prophesied by forumites I have developed a liking for the AKB, though I prefer the larger ones.
 
While I love the larger ones, our times pretty much make it unacceptable to use except in the privacy of your own property.

The micro on the other hand is on my belt daily and ready to work. It's slightly overkill for opening envelopes but at the same time people don't scream, faint and call the police, oh yeah we are the police...........

The micro is the one that gets used, they all get much love. I consider it a little part of HI that I can take with me everywhere, well most every where.

The little Hunter I recently got actually rides with me also in a little front pack. It's begging for a place on the belt too but needs a new dress, maybe after new year when things settle down a bit.

I may have to pick up an IBBB one of these days. Most of the time in the winter a V-42 Stiletto rides with me, but the IBBB is a lot more versatile, though heavier too. I do wish our society didn't have such an issue with weapons... but that's a topic for some other thread, or perhaps not for any thread.

Yeah its been really good actually, I don't know how she does it but the khuks only take 7-10 days :o even with the chrissy time rush, I'm only expecting another week on top of that ;)

I was going to buy some katnes on the last few deals but I was too slow...doing that whole sleeping and working thing :( that one with the bone and horn....damn.

And I think I'm good for collecting AKBs, I already have enough bowies and such haha

Oh I know! You bought it for a fellow Texan currently forced to live outside of Texas who doesn't yet own a Bowie knife, but knows it's his duty as a Texan to get one someday.

Well how good a mate is he? If he's a super good mate such as myself who incidentally doesn't have a Gopte (thought I'd just share that in passing) give him the Gopte. But being the Gopte is kind of special he might enjoy just as much the KLVUK.

Especially if he's gonna use it and put it to work.

Can non ozzie's be mates with ozzie's or is that breaking some sort of international law. Do I need to call the UN with that question?

I tried to suck up and be Karda's mate and talk him out of the big beautiful Hanshe he has with the swimming pool size fullers but his response was kind of abrupt and not nearly what I was hoping for. Might even have been a bad word or two and some mention of my questionable heritage in there too.

I was somewhat appalled but only for a few seconds. If it were mine I probably would have sent exactly the same response myself.
 
Haha he's a good mate of mine, but he doesn't take care of his knives and...I dunno...stuff him, I'll jus buy him some beer :)

And yes mate, we can be mates haha I don't believe there is any distance limits haha call the UN, see what they say...Although they might put you on some sort of list....

And I can see why karda didn't wanna pass up his hanshee lol maybe send him some chocolates :)
 
I even offered myself for adoption, told him I don't eat much and I'll cut the grass and such. Turned me down flat he did.

I probably better not call the UN, I'm probably already on a "list". Don't care much for the UN and wish they'd relocate someplace else far far away.

Don't cotton much to folks in blue helmets telling me what to do ya know. No doubt resistant to authority or something cept Karda of course, I toe the line ya know?

Oh hes a Texan alright. In fact I dont know if hes ever been outside of Texas. Hes one of them real cowboys. Barbed wire invention kinda messed up real cowboying but that just means he dont have to drive them to the red river anymore. He has a little strip of canal full of alligators and rice paddies now and lots of ducks! Yum! Hes a gun nut like Bawanna and gb and shavru and a few of you others. He lost everything in a hurricane a while back so he needs a Bowie:thumbup:
