:eek::eek::eek:

When is the Königstiger/Bismarck/Hindenburg/Messerschmitt Damast coming?:p

"In tradition of medieval European Damascus sword forging art, we present from our knife factory the successor model of the Swiss dagger in an extremely exclusive collector's edition. Fourway (??? dunno how to translate, four strips of patterns:confused:) Torsion Damascus, consisting one nikkel containing and one mangan containing toolsteel, forged in an extensive and very complicated forging process into a blade of perfect symmetry and beauty. Each individual strip() contains a Damascus pack, which firstly forged by hand and afterwards twisted (rotated in itself) fifteen times. Four of these self-rotated sticks are afterwards fire-welded and forged in the final blade shape. The structure of layers obtained in such way guarantees not only the legendary solidity of the Damascus blades, but also produces an unmistakable steel, which distinguishes a Torsion Damascus. Blades of Torsion Damascus were considered as the King's Class in the medieval forging art, which only the aristocracy could afford. Multiple-strips() Torsion Damscus daggers are found in medieval kings' graves, given to the commanders and or rulers as exceptional appreciation. This historical and extremely complicated forging process, which few Damascus smiths have mastered, is completed to perfection by Andreas Heinrichs exclusively for Böker. The beautiful shining black handle is handmade out of ebony highpolished in gripthingie (was ist Griffknauf???) and togother with the guards, they form a perfect entity with the noble blade. The handsewn and decorated leather sheath especially designed for this model, underlines the exclusiveness of these desired collector's pieces. The dagger is excuted in an individual nummer and strickly limited (250 pcs Europe and 250 pcs America). Delivered with collector's certificate in a noble wooden box. Bladelength 21.9cm, total length 36cm. Bladethickness 5mm. Weight 256g. Available from November 2008."

Luckily I've got a poetry license, otherwise no way I could have translate this text literarlly. Herr Böker, Ihr schreibst ungewöhnlich.

Yo MOI,

Now THAT is nice. I dunno...for some reason it just looks...er..."romantic".

Did you notice the fine print on the bottom of the knife description: "May not go well with orange safety shoes.":p

Sorry my friend...you will never that down I suppose.;)

God bless and choose wisely. BTW, interesting to know you have more than one kidney...:D

lol :D:D:D

I got other shoes as well... too pricely for me though, or I must find some one to take over half my collection real quick.

As for "romantic", I totally agree with you. For the same reason I left the word "noble" as it is instead of better suited alternatives. IMHO it's meant to be romantic, all the chivalry and such, just think of it like some RPG game item:p Did you know Böker has come up with a 1500€ Damascus kitchen knife???

Kidneys... I had four, sold two for some "crappy" CLB Designs :p just kidding.

D'Oh!!! I was thinking "Liver", that's why I mentioned you were the only guy I knew that had more than one. Ugh, sorry about that...before I tease you about your shoes, I better get my anatomy straight, eh?:o

ANYWAY, yes...that dagger is truly "romantic" and also out of my price range. Must be a damn lovely piece though...

NOW...about them "crappy" CLB Designs...

God bless ya MOI, I gotta run some errands now. I will catch ya guys later!

To me knowing the liver is on the right and the spleen on the left.. i however dont' know what purpose it has..
Maybe a MD could explain. I would sell it for some extra CLB's .. A smancy fancy fe..

The weight is something more... MOI i like it but not my cup . ;)

MOI, now you see, what I have to "work" for Boker USA, when translating our German descriptions into English!!!
But, next time, I can ask you for assistance...

Lol, I'm flattered. ;-) So are you gonna pay me with compliments >.<

Anyway, who wrote the original text in German? He writes kinda funky, in other texts as well.

I do not know, who made the original text. But it was definietly hard work to translate it.
Have a look at the Torsion Damascus kitchen knife" this text was quiet a challenge...

But hey, we are not here to have fun... so:
