I was just wondering how many knives of one maker do you own ?
I started buying knives from W.D.Pease in 1979 and over the years have owned more than 100 of his masterpieces. Oh do I wish that I still had them all !

Whoa! 100 Pease knives. I'm impressed!
But you don't say how many you now have.
I have 4 MadPoet sheath knives by the late Mel Sorg Jr. I know that's not alot by some standards.

Geeeez Louise, 100 customs.
I don't have 100 knives total, and they sure aren't all customs.
I do have three fixed blades from ABS Master smith PJ Tomes, and we talked this week I need one of his slipjoints.
I have two knives from Kit Carson, with a fixed blade coming when he gets to it.
I have two from JA Lonewolf.
Only one from my buddy Max Burnett, but we're talking about a couple of others.
I have a long list of makers that I still want my first knife from. One hundred from one maker doesn't seem possible for me.

I have three from Mike Snody, two FBs and a folder. Plan on adding to them at Blade.

JW,
As of today I have 45 of bill's knives left in my collection.
No none of them are for sale at this moment.
Good collecting!

Sorry wrong forum

The most that I have had is two knives from the same maker and that maker is Mike Snody. I do have a second knife on order from Ed Fowler. There are so many great makers and I want to get knives from as many of them as possible, so I don't think that I will ever have more than a few from any one maker.

5 DDRs
2 Mayos

Those are the only multiples I have at this time.
Waiting on a second Obenauf, though.

TEN Fisk's, two of which I posted the other day. Two more coming.

Dexter we need to talk about those 6 Carsons. ;)

Most from one maker Kit Carson hands down. 2nd would be Jess Horn.

I must say quite a list of great makers here.

Jocko you have been around the block a few times since 79.
Tell us what new makers you are watching. Come on now just between us fellows. :)

100 Pease knives now thats something. You did pick a great one to focus on.

(100 by the same maker over time? Dayuuummm dude....) :D

p.s. Nice collections guys!

I've narrowed down my collection as I have refined my tastes. The most I have from any one maker is 5 stunning beautiful usable blades by Neil Blackwood!

I have three (fourth is on the way) of Bob T's knives, and three Lightfoots (another on two on the way. Those are the most I have form anyone maker. Hopfully I can round up more LIghtfoots and Terzuolas and Carsons in the future.

I've got 3 pieces by mastersmith Howard Clark: a katana, a moroha zukuri tanto, and a *huge* yari. Unfortunately, none of those is mounted / polished yet. The katana is in the process, the moroha is next in line, the yari will have to wait.

I have a small simple utility knife by Don Fogg, that I picked up at the Oregon show. I have a great Jon Christensen bowie, and finally a small Tommy Lee boot knife with mastodon ivory scales (which is for sale incidentally.)

8 custom pieces by David Broadwell
