How many knives do you have that are users?

Just wondering how many of your knives are users and not just for the collection?? I find that about 1/3 to 1/2 of the knives i but end up getting used even if that wasn't my origanal intention.
 
I started out as a user, went to a collector ( I geuss), now I'm accumulating a collection of users. I sound almost like I need some help.
 
Its almost like a drug addict looking to another drug addict for support to kick the habit , it just doesn't work. Oh well maybe I just need to start buying two of everyknife I like. One to put up as a collection and the other to use for some thing or another.
 
I have only one knife I dont use. Its a m-1 bayonet, and i have taken ALOT of time sharpening it to a fairly good edge. I intend to use it though. My opinion is that knives are for using, and I dont need one sit around and collect dust. Not that I would EDC most of them, a select few follow me around exclusively, but all are worthy and get their chance.
 
See thats the problem I have. I buy one that I think is for collecting. Then the more I look at it the more I wonder hoe it cuts, handles and holds up.

It's just like fishing, you put a few on the wall, you eat some (EDC), you lose some at the boat(Eboat) and you throw some back to grow bigger.(trade/sell extras):p
 
I have a 110 with red bone scales waiting in a box until my son is old enough for his first knife. He turns two this weekend so it's going to be sitting in it's box for awhile :)



The rest of my Bucks are users. My problem is I'm accumulating too many to reasonably use in a month :o
 
Goose what is the 124 astronaut drnk??? I dont get the astronuat drink part?
 
All of mine are users at one point or another----some just get put away sooner than the others---jury is still out on the custom shop 110 I'm waiting for.
 
once upon a time i gathered up all the 110 i had in this box and that and every ware and come up wit 20 some users... and one collectable

now i am down to a few users like 3 110s a swiss buck an a real user of one = a 442 for edc ...
 
I have a 110FG that is my EDC user and I 'try' to use my other collectibles when I dare. I too am waiting for a custom 110 with BG-42 steel, which I am not sure that I will use or not, although I probably will.

I'm a user not a collector. So, all of mine are users. Some get carried more than others. But they all spend time in my pocket.
