If you were able to return a knife lets not count that knife. My total is one so far, but Im new.

Truly regret? 6, not counting those I've already sold and got back what I paid for them.

I find that knives, whether they be folders or fixies, that don't have a aftermarket support (like ready supply of alternative scales for example), or knives who's design and construction do not allow them to be customized, are knives I try to avoid. Now, I say "try", because I have a decent collection of Spyderco's, and with the exception of most of their fixed blades, you would be hard pressed to find and easily install custom scales.

I have 2 Victorinoxes that had blade play out of the box but didn't bother to return, I also regret getting the CRKT M16 14F Carbon because of the weak detent and sticky liner lock. Lastly I'd say the FRN Native for being an overal poorly constructed piece of shit.

Non really at the moment because I like the knife well enough or I just wanted to try one out and see if I like it and I can always sell or trade the knife. Good thing about knives is that they usually hold their value well and you can always sell or trade.

None currently, I usually sell or trade them pretty quickly if I don't like them.

Zero, even if I hate a knife I don't regret buying it. Knives I hate turn into experiments I enjoy :)

Benchmade 530, but only because I bought the combo edge and wish I had the plain edge. SOG Pentagon Elite 1--just not a fan. ZT0350--I like the knife, but now that I have a Strider SnG, a LionSteel SR-1A, and a Spyderco Gayle Bradley, I don't really need another "overbuilt" knife. I've gotten to the point where I have more folders than I possibly need. Fixed Blades--Bear and Son Damascus double edged fighter with stag bone handle. Just too pretty to use, I regret buying it. Never used, just haven't gotten around to selling it. KaBar US Army 9/11 Commemorative knife. Just have no use for it. Impulse buy.

All of them lol. Once you buy one you begin to chase the dragon trying to find the next best thing. But I do regret all the combo edge knives as I have come to realize they just dont work for me and I totally prefer the looks of a plain edge. My BM 585 and 907 never get carried due to this.

I bought two that I wish I hadn't. One was a PM2 that was sold to me in the Exchange ANIB, but wasn't. I sold that finally for $35 less than I paid.
I also bought one fixed blade that is of such poor quality that I can't even resell it for a big discount.
But most of my purchases/trades have been excellent. Just make sure that you have a "satisfaction guarantee." I wish I had done that.
