hey ! i was wondering how many knives you carry (including multitools). i personally EDC 2 mini multitools (Gerber clutch,Letherman Micra) as well as a full sized multitool and 2 full sized knives. oh ya and a slip joint on my para cord lanyard lol. it might be overkill but to me it extra weight dosint bother me, i just rather have my full setup in my pockets.

The only time I carry more than one knife is if I'm going camping, hiking, or taking a long walk off road.

Normally I carry two folding knives, a good one (now a 560cbcf) and a lower end to let others borrow wnen they ask for one, and my leatherman tti. I figure that's enough but if you can think of another reason to have more I can add another ;). They don't really look down on infantry personnel carrying a lot of knives.

>As many as you need, or "might" need on any given day. Personally, and on most days, that number is 1--unlike Machete, who by my count needs a minimum of 26:

thank you all for your posts! and i just like carrying lots of knives because i have different roles for each one, for instance i use a number 7 opinel to do most hard cutting tasks because it costs less so i wont be to-heartbroken if it breaks. but in the case were i need a fast deployable knife ill whip out my paramilitary 2, however the multitools are there mainly for a large selection off screwdrivers, pliers ect

I carry a small multi tool, a traditional, and a modern most of the time. Sometimes a fixed in addition to or replacing one.

My opinion: if you still have empty pocket space, or
an empty area of belt... So long as it doesn't interfere
with your movement... There's always room for one more.
lol. I have on me now.. My LM Wave, BM Adamas, a BK14
and an old Imperial USA 2 blade jack, just on my belt.
A Cold Steel 29TLC Large Voyager and a Queen Steel
#25 One Arm Barlow in rfp. An Enlan M025 in rbp. And
a Victorinox Climber on my keychain.

Why so many? They're mine and I want to.
All the reason I need.

If you're happy with just one or two, more
power to you.

You should do an edc video on You Tube:D

I say it's relative to your situation. I carried more blades when I was working in a machine shop than I do now as a delivery driver. They tend to get snagged sometimes if I have too many and i'm trying to unload a truck.

Two. I have a gec 66 in my pocket, and a Bk14 on my belt. I use the gec whenever I'm around somebody who I think may throw a bit of a fit at the sight of the Bk14.

Usually an opinel or sodbuster in left front, a SAK(usually deluxe tinker) right front, and it used to always be a fixed blade in the back left(BK14/24) but lately, thanks to this place, I've been trying out some modern folders (currently alternating superleaf and a 300sn). Sometimes I add a small fixed custom as a fourth option. I have problems.

I EDC 6,counting the vic classic on my key carbiner. Got a Delica 3, black blade, od handle. Delica 3 is clipped to rfp, Buck 309 "Companion" rides loose, rfp. Vic "Tinker", clipped to lfp by means of a carbiner.CHEAP Ridge Runner key chain knife in lrp, for scraping etc. Condor "Windfang" in neck sheath. Use em all for various reasons. This has been edc for years, although the "Windfand" only came along about a year ago, regards Henry

Oh! To answer the question, More than 6, might be too much. Well, maybe not. regards Henry
