How many knives "on the way"?

I currently have 3 knives on the way from 3 different online vendors. I've had 3 enroute several times but never more than that. I don't count the time I ordered 7 engraved SAK's as Christmas gifts. I'm talking about knives for myself.

What is the most you've had on order at any given time? :confused:
 
Just can't do more than one at a time. If I were to get more than one at at a time, I wouldn't know which one to break in first, which ones to carry first, etc etc. I just couldn't handle the pressure!! :D
 
I can't trust the Argentine mail with my knives (they only seem to hire thieves nowadays), so I ship the knives that I buy on-line to friends and family around the world and they bring them to me when they come to visit or keep them until I go to visit them.

Sometimes, a friend who is holding knives for me will give them to somebody he knows who is coming this way.

So, my knife habit is complicated to fuel! Now I have two knives on their way to Canada (my aunt is bringing them when she comes in December) and a few more in Ithaca, NY which are about to be taken to Chile by a friend of a friend. :-)
 
I have 3 new Case knives on the way right now. I'm actually expecting them any minute. My knife addiction has gotten so much worse since I "discovered" online shopping. My spending used to be limited by what was in stock at my local knife shop and hang-out. Since moving to a new city with no decent knife retail, I have spent much, much more than I normally do.
On the plus side, I've gotten several very nice knives that I never would have been able to find otherwise, and I'm paying much less for my knives.
Sure do miss that store, though.

Case Circle C Kentucky Bluegrass Congress (for my Pop)
Case Circle C Kentucky Bluegrass Canoe (for lil' ol' me)
Case smooth orange G10 Russlock (me too)

I can't wait! I have to do some Christmas shopping so I'll have more "on the way" shortly.
 
I have 2 Victorinox Classic SD Swiss Army Knives on the way, one in Alox and the other in translucent pink. The most I've ever had "on the way" is 3, but they were all in the same shipment.
 
I am only waiting for my Blade Tech M.L.E.K. Extreme with orange handles to come in today but I still have to wait another week for my Bob Dozier Elk Hunter with 5.5" blade.

This should just about do me for awhile ....(yeah, SURE!)
