How many layers of obeche do you have on your 110?

If I'm right in understanding the explanation of how the scales on a 110 are put together...then my 110 scales are made up of four layers of stained and laminated obeche. I counted them by looking at the spine of the knife and seeing the different staining on each layer.

Is four the standard number or do you guys have more or less on your 110's?

I guess my mind is thinking of mundane detailed questions to ask you guys so I can have something interesting to read when I wake up tomorrow...but to be honest...for some crazy reason...I am really interested to find out.

goose to make a valid count you have to note weather your mouth is dry or moist from beer...
me i get 10 or so then crunch ..

OK, I bit through on the Tootsie Pop.
Now I am trying to figure out what you guys are looking at. Been looking at my 110/2 knives with a mag glass. Don't see it.
Can someone post a closeup to show me what I am missing?
