Hi ya'll,
I am really starting to like the peanut. This one showed up today.

It will rest next to these, unless it is in my pocket.

I showed you mine, now show me yours.

I'm a very long term 'nut fan. At the present time, I only have my bone stag true sharp, but with the new offerings in CV, that may change. Or maybe I'll spend the next incentive check for a damascus and stag from Sheperd Hills. I had a plain yellow CV peanut, but it was given away. Loved the way the CV cut.

I have but one...a CV in yellow. I have thought about others and have even bid on a few older Camillus peanuts on ebay. It is a great watch pocket size but I have a number od different patterns in that same size range so it hasn't been a priority. However with Case bringing out more options in CV I may have to look a bit more seriously.

I got three... 2 rough riders, and one Case. the Case in bluegrass bone was my exclusive EDC for a few months last summer... surprising amount of cutting in a small package.

It would still be my EDC, but only one long blade was limiting, since the pen blade on it was just a bit too small for me. for that reason, I'm currently wanting a trapper nut.

I liked them so much I bought each of my folks one, who also love 'em.--Good light utility knife.

I have the Case amber bone version that I got as an anniversary gift a couple years ago. It has been my exclusive dress clothes edc, but it got bumped recently for my new GEC Barlow in buffalo horn.

I have two Case Peanuts, both in CV. One is redbone, the other in the new chestnut. I really like the new chestnut offerings in CV, so I ordered the new Sway Back Jack in chestnut. Like the Peanut, at 3-1/5" it's still a pretty small package.

I really like the utility of small knives like the Peanut. Since most of my knife work is cutting cardboard & plastic recycling, and fruit and cheese, the thinner geometry of the Peanut blades really works for me: no binding through resistant material, and even when the edge itself dulls, the blade still cuts through fairly cleanly, without a lot of effort. You can't say that for a thick tactical. The boxy shape of the Peanut also gives me pretty good purchase on the handle, despite it's smaller size.

On a related note, I hope a lot of folks buy the new Case chestnut CV Peanuts. I hope Case is rewarded for listening to our pleas for more Peanuts offerings in CV, and that they expand to produce even more in the future.

For the past year and a half or so, I've had a harvest orange Case peanut in my pocket more than any other knife. Makes for a great EDC as it does everything I need in a pocketknife.

I have three right now, one yellow CV, one bone damascus and one Stag TS. I do have a Chestnut CV on the way.

I like em' as well. I'm down to one yeller CV right now, but they seem to live in flocks, so that will most likely change.

I've got two chestnuts on the way. I hope they are as pretty in person as they are on the web pic.

Hi,

I've just gotten my first peanuts, nothing fancy. Just users. But the first thing I've noticed while carrying them, is that the blades are "backwards". The nicks are on opposite sides. And I have to turn the knife around if I want to use the other blade. And the blade I want to use is always on the other side.

And I've looked at a number of other peanuts by different makers and most of them are made this way. It would seem that it would be so easy to make them so both nicks are on the same side and still easily usable.

I don't know, maybe I'm just being picky about it. But I find it annoying sometimes.
