How Many Members?

Just sitting here wondering... How many active members are on Bladeforums? Does anybody have any idea? I know it doesn't matter, but I'm intrigued!

PS - I know how to view the online-now numbers, but that's not the same thing.

Yes it does. IDK active as in posts 1 time a year minimum?

Well, there’s roughly 800 people logged in as I type this, so, I’d make a wild guess and say there are probably about 3500 or so users we would consider “active” and probably three times that number that post only a few times a year.

There are apparently 300k+ registered users, but I’d bet that figure counts banned spam accounts (of which there are an astounding number)

What are "robots" in terms of the online count? It is a term I have not understood on forums.

I would assume that "guests" are mostly people who have not logged in and probably the majority are smart phone or tablet users.

I would be interested in the definitions used to define these terms here.

I believe they are the “bots” that allow google and other search engines to find keywords when people search for things.
