Trying to settle a bet with my buddy at work about the most produced American knife model. Does anyone know what the approximate total number of Mil-K 818 camp knives produced by Camillus 1949-2007? Thanks!

I'm been looking for the old thread here where Camco mentions that the Mil-k818/1760 was the knife model that Camillus made the most, with the TL-29 coming in second. Don't remember if he had total numbers or not. I also remember hearing that Camillus also made all the Schrade named MIL-K818's.

Camillus made approximately 12,000,000 model #S1760 stainless steel knives since 1949. In addition to the knives stamped "U.S", models were made with the handles stamped: "U.S.A.F", "U.S.N." and "U.S.M.C.". A version without any handle stamping was made for Canada.

Camillus made approximately 10,000,000 Electrician's knives (second largest production item).
