how many mnandis do you own?

Just curious, I got a snakewood mnandi a few days ago and absolutely love it. I plan to buy one more (camel wood). Who else likes to collect mnandis and how many do you own?
 
sorry but what in hell is a snakewood mnadi? I thought my stupid question would at least be better than zero replys, I know how that feels!
 
This is my now gone snakewood Mnandi.
great looking knife but I find that anything smaller then a small sebenza is too small.

I have two, a walnut inlay and a bocote inlay. I'm planning on getting at least one more.
 
I've got a couple mammoth ivory mnandi's, but I'd like to purchase a few with wood inlays too. I think my next purchase will be one with lignum inlays.
 
I've got four left-hand Mnandi's, one with Mammoth Bark inlays, one with Black Palm inlays, one with African Blackwood inlays and one (I'm not sure of the inlays. It was supposed to be Bocote inlays, that's what the birthdate certificate says, however the scales are definitely not Bocote. There must have been a mismatch between the knife and the box with the paperwork. Anyway, I love the Mnandi, but really didn't intend to buy this many. Luckily, I bought them all before the price increase.

I have five at the moment. Mammoth bark, and inner cut mammoth. Black palm, camelthorn, and bloodwood.

I use the bark, black palm, and camelthorn as carries. My wife carries the bloodwood in her purse, and uses the inner cut mammoth as a desk knife.

I may pick up a sixth in box elder to match a large and and a small sebenza I have in box elder. Dunno. Still thinking about it.
 
I have two at the moment. African Blackwood with Stainless Damascus Basketweave. And a Mammoth Ivory.
My next one will be a Camel Thorn ;)

This may be inappropriate ... but I'm desperate. I have been wanting to trade my "Paws" Small Sebenza and a DKD Auto Stingray for a Mnandi in the Trade Forums. Please look. Thanks, and sorry if this is bad :o
 
I was considering another one last week until I was told how much. I picked up a Classic micarta instead. My Bocote Mnandi is beautiful. My wife actually surprised me with it a couple anniversaries ago.

I have two. A LH Mammoth Bark and an African Blackwood. The Blackwood is my work carry. The mnandi is a sturdy little knife. Its cutting ability has far exceeded my expectations.:cool:

Piter, Thanks, they are probably my favorite set. The redwoods are nice as well...
