How many Native American graphics were produced?

I traded off my large regular BG42, and have settled on replacing it with a large regular Native American graphic. These are of course discontinued. The few people that I knew had them, either don't want to give them up, or have gotten rid of them already. How many are produced in a regular run?
 
I too like the "Native American" and have thought about selling a sebenza to get one. Its a really cool design in either the large or small.
 
Mine was one of the last made...It was on back order for CRK's to make during the time they were discontinued.

I asked the same question as you have...only answer I got was that there was no specific record kept to tell how many were made.

Mine is still NIB, thought about selling it last week to fund a Umnumzaan...but decided to keep it and just go ahead and buy the Umnumzaan anyway...It arrives in a day or two:D

I was going to keep the regulars I had and get Nat Am graphics put on them, but had a chance to trade for a small wood Seb. I might just send my small plain regular in.
 
I wasn't aware you could send in a plain sebenza and have CRK add a CGG to the handle, especially one that has been discontinued? Is this still an option & at what costs?

The reason I had to wait for mine was because they had a very small amount of the Native American models on back order at the time but they had to wait to get them out as I was told they run them in batches (so they didn't have to keep setting up the program/equipment).

I know they will re-make a Lisa's Picks for you from past designs, but I did not think they did that with regular CGG. That would be cool if they did. I like the "native american'' alot and would like to have it done. I wonder if they only do it to a regular profile as it looks like the larger thumb openings would get in the way of the original design ?
 
I emailed CRK and asked if they will put a discontinued CGG on a existing sebenza. here is their responce.......

"No, the “Native American” CGG is no longer offered – sorry. We will only re-machine the discontinued graphics if there is a warranty issue."

Oh Well :(
 
That's good news for me then...that means the price on mine just went up a little more now:D
 
onlyfineknives.com shows both a large and small regular with the Native American graphic on their website.
