I have sold quite a few pieces in the past, however, I think the large majority of the sales have been to fund more INFI. I don't regret selling INFI to buy other INFI. However, there are a couple of pieces I wish I still had ;)

:D:D

Hey Valley.... :D

NO REGRETS!!!!!!

Although I do feel a little bit empty when INFI leaves my hands....

i just REGRET having to sell one of the peices since the likelyhood of me ever getting my hands on another are slim to none..... one of you safe hording hogs will get it and never let me have it back...lol

That is the chance you take with some of these guys. I have been known to offer a piece back to it's original owner if I go to sell it down the road. You know it is nice to reunite blades with their old owners. I have had the courtesy extended to me and so I offer it on occasion, especially if the guy sells it because he is in a bind and it is a fairly rare piece. If it were a huge production run deal like and SH-E, then I might be quick to hunt down the old owner, but a one of or variant usually gets offered to it's original owner first, usually but not always. :D

i regret every gun and every knife i ever sold...especially the busse's...

wait........

NO REGRETS!!

but sometimes something gets in my eyes when i think about certain sold items...

I don't see any knives for sale by you?

I usually sell to buy others or because the knife wasn't for me, so I don't have any REGRETS!

:D

Yea I think I'd always offer the seller the first option to buy back the knife at a price that is about 10-15% higher than what I paid assuming the knife was in the same condition.

I'd adde the mark-up because if I didn't have the cash tied up in the knife then cash would have been invested.

I just bought back my first custom race bike from a friend so I'm willing to spread that kind of thing around too.

I think that's fair, because usually it's worth the extra 10-15% for the original seller to get his knife back. Besides, if it's a Busse the extra $$ could be valid appreciation in value anyway.

I was recently offered a knife back that I sold two years ago and was VERY grateful to get it back. Coincidentally, the price the guy wanted was 12.5% higher than what I sold it for...

I didn't make any offers regarding the blade, just strategies to help make the cash you need. Geez Ducci gets all worked up when he thinks someone is getting one over on him doesn't he.
