How many of you actually carry a La Griffe?

How many of you carry a La Griffe on a daily basis, and how does the edge hold up? Is this a pretty good utility blade? I'm about to order a La Griffe, and was wondering how everyone likes them.

Rattler:

I used to carry my L/G in my EDC rotation until I recently received an Emerson Med. neck Blade. I found that the "around the neck" sheath too restrictive and made a cross draw belt sheath. This new configuration worked out better for my needs.

As far as a utility piece, the L/G works great. For use in everyday chores, the small blade works well for opening mail/boxes and light duty cutting. It served well as a back-up to My Commander and PSARK which I would term as my primary Blade S/D blades.

I wear mine every day, and use it more than any other knife I own. The edge takes a little while to learn how to sharpen, but once you learn its fast and easy to maintain.

i freq. carry mine on my belt.

in fact i'll be going to the facist regime of Boston soon and it's probably the only 'defensively capable' knife i'll bring. everything else i own is illegal there.

great town, crappy statutes,

I carry mine just about everyday. It's so light and flat that its barely noticeable. In the two months that I've had it though I've not touched the edge at all. It's easier just to reach for my EDC in my pocket than to pull the neck knife out of its rig.

My La Griffe is mostly just a 'hide-out' knife for me.

I carry mine every day as my neck knife. It's a backup defensive tool, so I really haven't bothered sharpening it, the factory edge is fine and has not been used thus far.

I carry mine infrequently, as the neck sheath is a pain. I am currently trying to locate a belt-type sheath... anyone had any luck with Mike's River City Sheaths? I want one that can be carried on my belt, being able to be cross drawn...

I know of a few guys who have Mike Sastre's cross draw sheaths. The concensus seems to be very positive. I've seen some pics of his L/G sheaths albeit standard draw rather that cross draw. They look very well made and conceal well.

If you're having problems locating a maker, feel free to drop me an e-mail. I've made a few Kydex slip on sheaths in a cross draw configuration. I am currently carrying my L/G this method and find it a lot more convenient.

Got mine 2 weeks ago... not sure abotu the neck sheath, btu apparently I'm not the only one. Cross draw sounds like it'd be nice. Factory edge is mean sharp... slices through 70 and 80 page catalogs as cleanly as it does a single sheet of paper... no rough cuts, no tears.
