..and if so, what do you carry? I alternate between an XDm 9mm and a Kiimber UCII, with a S/W 442 or Kel Tec PF9 as back up..

I've carried for maybe 15 years. I've tried everything from Glocks (currently own 11) to 1911s to you name it. For the past 3 or 4 years though, I have migrated exclusively to pocket carry for convenience and to help reduce recurrent low back spasms.

Pocket carry really limits my selection, so I have settled into a rotation of Kahr PM9, S&W 442 and Ruger LCP. Mostly the Kahr, as it gives me 7 rounds of 9mm in a 100% reliable package that I can shoot well, and which conceals relatively well in jeans, khakis or shorts. I stick with the LCP when wearing dress attire, as its almost invisible in my pocket. I can't shoot the LCP worth a darn past bad breath distance, but it beats having a pocket full of nothing.

at work: kimber warrior, ruger lcp.

not at work: usually the lcp, sometimes a colt defender.

S&W 442 in a front pocket holster usually since I have to tuck in a shirt and wear dress pants.I did just buy a Beretta PX4 .40 though that I'll wear attire permitting.

I've been carrying since the early '70s. Retired as a LEO in 1996.
It's down to a pocket gun, North American Arms .22 magnum for EDC.
Occasionally, S&W Bodyguard .38 in addition to the .22.

Kimber CDP or a Kahr CW40
And a North American Arms .22 magnum
It all depends where and what i am doing or going....And if i go into the big city i take my MAC90....

I used to have a CC permit from Georgia. I now live in the Peoples Republic of Illinois where it is almost illegal to own a gun, let alone carry one...
