I don't usually "fall" for that kind of promotion. For one thing, I don't wear hats that often. And when I do, it's because it's winter and freezing outside. But I always wanted to get a set of Paklites and a set of non-pro Paklites meets the minimum free shipping requirement, so I thought, "why not." One thing I though was "cheap" was the model numbers are just printed on.
 
My hat (and 110 LT) are floating around in postal limbo. But Buck said they sent one, so I checked "yes". I do wear hats on occasion, and I don't own a Buck hat, so I'm excited to see it.
 
Missed it by that much. Ordered a custom knife shortly before the promotion began.

My career required me to wear a hat for some 30 years. And I hated wearing a hat. When I retired, I swore I would never wear another hat, as long as I lived. But as my hair got thinner, I decided to buzz it short. And now I need a hat to keep the dang hot sun off my head. So these days, I wear a hat pretty much whenever I leave the house.

The good news, is that I look good in a hat. Better than I do without one, anyway. 🤣

the promo is on for the whole month of September, so if you can scrape some more money together, you can still get one. Also, I lied, I forgot that I do wear a wide-brimmed green hat when I'm outside in the sun (mainly when doing lawn work). But I don't wear trucker hats that often (if ever). I'm in my 60s but still have most of my hair, albeit it is thinner (and grayer) than it used to be.

Under different circumstances, I might consider it. But I'm meeting some friends up at the Reno Air Races next week, and I've already spent a fortune on this trip. Might spend another fortune in the casino. 🤣 I suspect the most economical way for me to get another hat, is to simply buy one. :D
 
Usually I like these promotions and this one caught my eye. I only buy knives that I have wanted, as an excuse to get free merchandise I like. It's not the hat that makes me buy the knife. Does that make sense or is it just some reverse marketing psychology? Haha.
I didn't buy on this one. The hat is very cool but I'm not sure it would look good on me. I also have the other camo buck hat and I wear it all the time when my hair starts getting long. I really have been considering knive that I buy lately. It seems like prices are all over the place. To bucks credit, they are probably just trying to figure out this economy. Currently only buying the on es I "need."
 
I didn't know of the promo, but wouldn't have really wanted one anyways.
I'm a hat guy, but won't wear just any hat.
aside from my work uniform hat I have 3 hats I wear which aren't likely to ever change.
The primary everyday hat of choice since I was 12, the summer outdoor hat, and the winter outdoor hat, yes I wear a hat inside.

It is a cool looking hat though, if I had known about it and there was anything I wanted I would have given the hat to my dad who I know would love and wear it.
Buck has always been a brand he's trusted ,he has a ton of hats, and he is definitely not particular about hats like I am.
He'll pretty much wear any hat or T shirt, I can't tell you how many times he had no clue or completely misinterpreted the message character or symbol on a hat or T-shirt that he bought.

HH I need some clarification. First in the poll the percentage whe I look at it adds up to 123.5 percent? You call it a camo duck hat, why is it not just a camo hat? Asking for a friend. ;)

Buck calls it a Buck Duck Camo Logo Trucker Hat. Some people are probably voting twice or something - not sure why it doesn't add up to 100%. The choices were meant to be mutually exclusive.
 
.....663 Alpha Guide and the hat.

I lost the hat if anyone asks.
I still have and am actually carrying the knife.

I planned to also purchase the 664 Hunter, but opted for a new scope for my rimfire.
I hate woodchucks and they like pears.
 
So this morning I was looking to order the 664 Alpha Hunter, and hey, I like that camo hat.

Wait, no camo hats.
Now it's some other hat..... not much of a hunting hat, but that's cool.

Oh great, now the 10 percent off screen has taken over and will not go away.

I guess I don't need that knife after all.

I HATE that 10 percent off screen!

Interesting that there is another hat being offered. But I don't wear hats that often and I already have the Duck one. So ... I wonder how many people actually paid $30 for those hats? I don't buy these types of hats and had no idea that they cost that much.
