I have been thinking about ordering one of these, probably the BG-42 blade , silver bolsters, and either stag or jigged water buffalo horn scales.

What do you think? Are they worth the money?

I love my PCKS Buck 110!!! The stag scales on mine are excellent. I'd even go as far as to say that Buck's BG-42 is every bit as good as the BG-42 on my Sebenza, maybe better. If you love the Buck 110, the PCKS versions are an absolute must.

That's a cool looking 110, Buzz. I'm glad you addressed the quality of the heat treat, as I was wondering about that. I imagine Paul Bos gave them the specs.

I think this may be my next major knife purchase.

I love mine (red pickbone, brass, BG42). I'd carry it everyday if it weren't so heavy (Hey Buck, how about a PCKS 112??).

As it stands now, it's my favorite folder.

I have one very similiar to what you are thinking - textured water buffalo, BG 42-with partial serrations and silver bolsters. I absolutley love it and have plans on buying more.....

You might get more answers if you posted or moved this to the BUCK forum....

Well, I have one or two, and seem to always have one on my belt. The BG42 is fantastic.
