I wonder, how many of you have all of the original 12 volumes of
my Knife Related Books?

The first series of 4 books was also counterfeited in China and sold on Amazon
cheaply and their quality was quite poor relative to my original production....

All the best,

David, you have mentioned issues with purchasing through Amazon... is there an outlet to purchase these from which you would suggest purchasing from instead? I'd hate to risk purchasing a counterfeit.

Dr D,
I have all of the originals and finger, er read them daily. Can't wait for the next installment! They are invaluable for inspiration.

Steve Hostetler

I have them all.

Phil Lobred does as well.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

DDD -- I have all the books, all the Jim Weyer books and all Knives Annual since inception in 1981 with the last one coming from Amazon in the day time today. Le Baron, the store where I usually purchase KA, is going out of business so it will now be Amazon each year.

Of course I have a huge library of other books related to custom knives. What one can't own can always be enjoyed in book form.

Since not many have all of my 12 Custom Knife Related books... :(
At least judging from your responses, here is a more challenging view of
the shelf holding one copy of all my various publications - 33 books.... :)

Anybody has a similar collection?

Thanks and all the best,
David Darom (ddd)

I don't know who owns the rights and all that, but if you were to create an electronic version of these I would buy them in a heartbeat. As it stands, it's just too hard to get some of them! I only have three volumes.

Well, David, I mentioned above the books in our collection to some extent but a further examination yields up to about 120 books related to knives. Then there are upwards of 50 books related to art and artists including painting, sculpture and glass. I also have a collection of mostly fiction pocket books which total well over 1000 and then don't get me started on travel books although not in the same numbers are still plentiful. Then I could get into sports books (many of which I also have given away), photography books etc plus many magazines. As mentioned, what one can't own and enjoy one can surely have books.

My fully illustrated guide to the HANDGUN is available in digital form on Amazon.... :)

Murray, When I moved to Protea Hills (Near Jerusalem) I gave away
all the books in our library and kept only copies of the ones that I created myself (33 so far)..... :)

I've got a handful of your books, and just love em! They've been pored over 100s of times

David -- I either was able to buy a bigger house without collectibles or live where I am and try to figure out where to put things. Run out of room but not out of enjoyment.

Thanks Lorien! I hope you managed to get my latest volume from Dave Harvey...
It is a very limited edition and also probably my best book ever... Let me know what you think
about it when you get it....

Stay well!

I like your way of thinking, Murray! Probably because you too carry the
"flawed "Collector Gene" like many of us do.... :)
