Good Day,

How many of you have the Becker Necker?

What do you like it for?

What do you think of the sheath? If you have stripped it, does the sheath still work?

Do you have the metal belt clip for it?

Any images?

I have one and think it's a fantastic little knife, I didn't think I would like the sheath at first judging by the pictures but when I got it it felt great. It has pretty good ergonomics for a skeletonized knife. My one qualm is that I can't seem to get the steel as sharp as I would like.

Hi Marion. Sorry , no pics yet ,but I have one and like it a lot. No belt clip, just a neck lanyard only , and red paracord wrap. The handle is a wee bit small for the blade IMO , but it's a neck knife , so some sacrifice for overall length has been made. It's a tough blade , for sure , and holds a great edge. It needs to have the bevels widened some to make it a good slicer. The sheath is well made , and the knife snaps in securely. Lots of carry options though , and an improvised belt arrangement can be easily made. Slips easily into a jacket pocket as well, because of the thinness.

The notch on the end I've hardly used , but may yet come in handy for prying. All in all, I am very satisfied with this knife. Hope this helps.

I had the BK11, GREAT SHEATH, GREAT KNIFE, I passed mine along to someone who never had a Becker before, they LOVE IT

I think of it as a good outdoors neck knife. I do carry it around my neck elsewhere but I wouldn't think it would be too great for a fighting knife as the point is not very sharp. I do not have the metal clips. I just took a picture on my phone. Sorry about the bad quality.

PS: I have done a lot of cutting and batoning with this knife and I think it performs well.

Thank you all for the images.

That sheath, with pict's sheath kit, have got me thinkin'.....

I am gonna have to go find a bike tire or two....

Good knife for the price. I got mine shipped for about $30, paid an extra $10 for the TDI belt clip.

As stated the handle feels a bit short, but it's not too bad. Here is a pic of mine after adding paracord, some jimping, TDI clip, and I convexed the edge for better cutting.

I like the belt clip, since I choose to carry this knife by clipping it to the inside of my waistband. ...One odd thing about the belt clip is that it is coated with some weird black finish that rubbs off all over everything. I spent a good two hours wiping and cleening the thing and it still sometimes turns your hands black when you rub it!

Also, one of the four screws that came with the clip was stripped out, or just didn't fit right. But one email to Ka-Bar and they sent me two whole sets of new screws and anchors for free!

Her's a pic of it next to my Bark River Bravo necker for referance:

As you can see the Becker is bigger in every way, though the Bravo is by far my favorite. IMHO it is a better knife but it does cost quite a bit more. -For $30 - $40 the Becker is a great deal!

No pics but mine is cord wrapped and goes well with my little psk. Light and unobtrusive. Sharpens like a dream!

Ive got it too, nice knife with bad ergonomics for my hands. The blade has the perfect size, not too small and not too large. The coating dosent hold up to much use, then it begins coming off but that gives the knife character. Handle is vey uncomfortable for my hands. for the record i wear i size 11 in gloves. In the end i made my own handle for my BK11.

I only recently got mine, so not much use yet.
It is comfortable as a neck carry.
I did not use the cord it came with and opted for a beaded chain.
I don't like cords around my neck.
The 7+ ft of cord it came with is not paracord.
The sheath grabs it securely and I doubt if stripping the knife would affect how the sheath holds it.
A good knife for $35.

Cord that came with my Becker Necker.

I have an old Camillius and a new ka-bar bk-11 love them both. what i did to solve the short grip was to tie the supplied para cord in a series of cobra knots around the frame of the grip it looks pretty good and fills the hand much better than the bare metal.

Ive had and loved my BK11 since Christmas 2008! That thing is a beast in a small package. I have beat the hell out of it..batoned a few 2x4s for shims and cross batoned (just cuz it could  ). She rides in my front left pocket 24/7 (well minus the sleep time...then she is next to me on my bed table). I love the tactical bottle opener..others dont. Takes a good edge. I knocked the coating off part of the spine and cleaned it up so now she throws a spark really well! It is such a great value IMHO. I would like about another 1/2" to 1" on the handle, but im totally fine with it the way it is...I dont have gorilla hands...so it just fits my hands. What else good can i say?? Ethan hit a homerun on that girl and her kissing cousin that i have named "The Beast", the BK2

Sorry...no pix/camera at the moment.

I have the original one from Ontario. It's a great edc but the Izula I bought blows it away as far as ergos and grind lines.

I've got one of the new Ka-Bar made ones. I wasn't happy with the factory edge, it was a bit too thick for my liking. I stripped it and convexed it. Now I love it.

The sheath is a bit bulky (albeit really flat), I'd prefer something a bit more compact. I pocekt carry mine.

Right now the handle is cord wrapped, but I'm going to get some scales done for it, the cord just gets too dirty.

Sorry for the crappy pic.

I don't have one but have used one a lil' bit - great blade but extremely small handle - very uncomfortable.I have big hands and the small handle has stopped me from getting the Necker :(

I had one, carried daily for about three months. Didn't use the clip I just used para cord to make belt loops. And yes I stripped it,:), it still fit in the sheath securley as it locks on the finger guard. It does rattle a little in the sheath, but as I said it is secure.

Had no more need for it so I passed it on to my son. He uses it for his "large" woods knife. When KaBar releases scales for it I'll slap a pair on for him.

A pic (with two of his other fixed blades)

Ohh ya, that is velcro on the sheath for a piggy back system with a small nylon pouch.
